St. Baldrick’s Foundation Announces 2026 Summer Fellow Grants, Investing in Future Pediatric Cancer Leaders

LOS ANGELES, CA (April 28, 2026) – The St. Baldrick’s Foundation, the largest charity funder of childhood cancer research grants in the U.S., is proud to announce the 2026 recipients of its Summer Fellow Awards. In total, the Foundation will award $120,000 in Summer Fellow Grants, supporting medical and undergraduate students as they conduct pediatric oncology research in labs across the country this summer.

Summer Fellow Grants provide aspiring physicians and scientists with hands-on experience in childhood cancer research, advancing the Foundation’s mission to fund lifesaving research while building the next generation of pediatric oncology researchers. Through these immersive opportunities, recipients gain critical exposure to the field and contribute to ongoing efforts to improve treatments and outcomes for children with cancer.

Since 2005, the St. Baldrick’s Foundation has awarded more than $371 million in grants to advance lifesaving childhood cancer research, driving better treatments and cures for every child diagnosed. The next round of grants will be announced this summer.
